Account Manager (m/w) - Automotive Sensors - International OEM - South Germany
A well known and established International Sensor Supplier within the Automotive sector are looking to hire an Account Manager to cover OEM customers in the South German region.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with 3 - 5 years field sales or field applications engineer experience of selling into the Automotive industry.
You will be visiting customers to provide solution sales of products, aid in technical discussions and win new business in your region.
-Strong technical understanding of Sensor components (ideally Automotive focused)
-Proven track record winning new business for electronic components in Germany
-Ability to grow new business/customers across a region (provide some level of Design-In / Solution Sales)
-Fluency in German and English is essential
-Develop/maintain new and existing direct accounts across South Germany
-Work with Customers and Engineers to help drive new products into market
-Travel to Client locations and give technical presentations
-Forecast territory sales and develop sales development plans
A strong candidate would be someone with good component product knowledge, preferably from a manufacturer, with experience of the Automotive electronics market (though not essential) and the energy to travel regularly.
