Agile Project Manager
IC Resources have an urgent requirement for an Agile Project manager for our rapidly expanding client based in Cambridge. The client strongly embraces Agile and have custom built Scrum rooms to help their staff with their meetings.
Dedicated Project Managers are responsible for managing, coordinating and directing a number of internal engineering and customer facing projects across the full product lifecycle, from definition to release.
The projects vary in size, duration and focus but usually involve cross-disciplinary Agile feature development teams (hardware, firmware and software) and generally will range from 5 to 30 people in size, with timescales from a few weeks to many months.
To be successful and enjoy this role a Kaizen mind-set is required with the aim to define and refine the product development processes by identifying and introducing best practices from within, and outside of the organisation. This is not a technical hands-on role, but being able to understand and interact with the development engineers is essential as is the ability to relay technical issues to a managerial and customer audience.
Previous experience in at least one of the disciplines of software or hardware development is therefore essential. In addition, knowledge of, and experience in, a number of different development methodologies is required, as is a past history of successfully delivering engineering projects in the consumer electronics or software industries.
If you have the necessary skills and experience to fulfil the role or would like some additional information then please do not hesitate to contact Seamus Hayes at IC Resources.
