Business Development - Semiconductor Distribution - South East UK

My client, a key semiconductor/electronics distributor, seeks a Product Manager/Business Development Manager with a technical background from the electronics industry in Semiconductors specifically to manage relationships with key suppliers. This is covering Europe from the office on the M4 Corridor.

Requirements:
-demonstrable success within the semiconductor components market place with good understanding of the Distribution world
-strong sales background would be very suitable
-self starter experienced in growing business, able to develop and execute strategies in growing verticals/customers
-sound technical knowledge of FPGA's, MCU's and High End semiconductors

Responsibilities:
-work with Technical, Sales and Marketing staff with dedicated accounts
-motivate/drive Sales personnel to hit and exceed monthly and annual budgets
-support all related design, marketing, pricing and advertising functions.
-focus on and manage supplier relationships focussed on execution of business plan

This is a key hire for my client and a confident, driven and technical individual will secure this position in the line of Supplier Account Management / Product Management.
