My Cambridgeshire based client is a small technology software company who are focussed on the Pharmaceutical industry and they require an experienced C++ Software Engineer to join the small team.

As C++ Software Engineer you will work on client and server side code development of the company's software product range.

This post would suit an experienced C++ Software Engineer who has been specifically coding with C++ for a number of years and is confident working without guidance. This role would suit C++ Developers with a scientific background, however this is not essential, any Python , GUI or QT experience would also be beneficial.

As C++ Software Engineer you will have the following skills:

*Experienced with C++ on Windows, Mac or Linux
*Have at least 2 years relevant experience of product development in a commercial and/or open source project
*Be degree educated or equivalent within a relevant subject
*Have a background in physical, mathematical, computer or life sciences
*Be innovative, self-motivated, dependable and enjoy problem solving
*You will ideally have experience of Python and GUI development - Qt experience beneficial

As part of a small team, there will also be opportunities to be involved in customer support, quality assurance, testing and other functions, as well as to attend conferences.

This role of C++ Software Engineer would suit a seasoned Developer who has been in industry for a number of years focussing on C++ development, ideally with some sort of Python, GUI / QT experience. Get in touch with Simon Allen at IC Resources to find out more.
