Datapath Design Engineer - ASIC
A superb opportunity for a Datapath Design Engineer with my client, a ground-breaking and leading semiconductor company working at the forefront of the latest consumer electronics development.
This position, within the Datapath team, is an extremely interesting, inventive role involving the architectural research and design optimization for current and next generation graphics hardware (GPUs). The Datapath group's work is centred on the development of faster, smaller, more robust and power-efficient hardware through the application of mathematical algorithms. Through your research into cutting-edge techniques for implementing mathematical operations in silicon, you will build internal tools to aid in design exploration, and become a true Datapath expert within the organisation.
*Prior Digital ASIC Design experience
*RTL optimization skills
*A strong mathematical background
*An understanding of datapath design techniques
*An understanding of floating point arithmetic would be beneficial
