Geometry Processing Architect
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Graphics / GPU Hardware Engineer to join a global Semiconductor company as a Geometry Processing Architect.
Based in Cambridge, this role is a superb option if you are looking for an interesting and highly innovative role in the field of Graphics GPUs, driving the future direction of graphics geometry processing for future generation GPU, creating faster, smaller, more robust and power-efficient hardware.
Working with the architecture and development teams in the analysis and definition, you will define the architecture and micro-architecture for future geometry processing hardware, creating a roadmap delivering power, performance and area targets for generations of GPU.
*Strong understanding of graphics geometry processing flows
*Experience of performance modelling and analysis
*Ability to create clear specifications and targets
*Repeated project experience of technically owning and executing the design and implementation of complex units or sub-systems, from specification to design sign-off.
*Ability to quantify and make trade-offs between power, performance and area appropriately to meet the requirements of the product.
*High level programming experience such as C/C++ would be beneficial.
