Junior Verification Engineer - 3D Graphics - North of London
An excellent opportunity for a Junior Verification Engineer with a passion for graphics technology has become available within an international semiconductor company based in Hertfordshire, UK. Their graphics team produce the world's leading family of ultra-low power GPU IP cores for mobile and embedded applications, that have already shipped in more than half a billion products worldwide.
The team is involved in the complete design cycle from inspiring concepts, through to design implementation and exploration, giving their engineers the chance to explore their full potential in all areas of the design process. The successful candidate will have the unique opportunity to exercise their verification skills on cutting edge designs within the Ray Tracing group, by assuming technical responsibility for the verification of key components of advanced cores and working closely with design and modelling teams to determine high level verification strategies and detailed verification plans, executed using leading edge techniques.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years relevant experience and;
*Strong digital hardware design and verification skills using VHDL, systemVerilog or Verilog, as well as in depth knowledge and/or experience of OVM or UVM.
*Be familiar several of the following; self checking testbenches, constrained random verification, metric driven verification, formal verification, power aware verification, systemC, TLM protocols, Perl, TCL, Make and CShell.
Strong analytical skills and problem solving abilities and an interest in graphics technology
