Mixed-Signal Chip Architect - Munich
This is a new and exciting opportunity for a Mixed-Signal Chip Architect / Principal Concept Engineer to join a global leader in Semiconductor development for low-power consumer applications.
Based in the highly desired city of Munich, the you will be working within an international team on the design of Analog and Mixed Signal blocks for cutting edge technology.
*Define optimum architecture for Mixed signal IC in cooperation with platform team
*Steer R&D developments into new directions
*Define requirement specification for complete system
*Analog design and technical leadership of mixed signal projects
*Very familiar with low power battery operated product
*Very familiar with complex analog system on chip integrations
*Understand PCB technology and its limitation
*Understand Power Integrity
*Solve issue creatively
*Think out of the box
Industry degree qualified, the successful application will have established experience in Analog/Mixed Signal IC Design and will have experience in some or all of the following;
*Demonstrated technical leadership and has a proven record of taking chips to production
*Recent hand-on Mixed signal design experience
*Detailed design and layout review capabilities
*Good knowledge of analog design blocks like DC/DC designs/architectures and knowing which are suitable for given applications
*Good knowledge of battery operated portable device
*Understand PI and recognize DC and AC losses
*Creativity to solve problems
*Good written and verbal communication skills
*Experience in working with international teams
Excellent communication skills in English are required with knowledge of the German language an asset.
