North EU Business Development Manager - LED/SSL:
My client is a leading international distributor of electronic components who seeks a specialist LED/SSL Business Development Manager to drive new business across the North of Europe (UK and Scandics). To be based in the UK out of home office, this role aims to accelerate the adoption of the company's Solid State Lighting (SSL) solutions and maximise our sales revenues in LED's, Drivers, Integration and Attach Components, through expansion of the Northern European customer base.
- Act as the primary lead for the SSL/LED portfolio for North Europe by driving and supporting customer base expansion.
- Identify, qualify and target customers based in new and existing market segments with new and existing SSL technologies.
- Produce and drive business plans targeted at delivering increased design activity, profitable revenue growth, and increased customer count.
- Support the field team in closing deals and securing orders.
- Strong background in SSL/LED technologies.
- Proven track record in a sales/business development position.
- Willingness to travel to customers 50%-70% of the time across Northern Europe.
