My South East, UK based client is a market-leading company continually developing and improving upon next-generation ISP technology and looking to hire excellent Principal Algorithm Researchers who have a real passion for what they do. Primary responsibilities of this position will be working with a bright team of research engineers in the development of high quality and innovative image algorithms that can be implemented efficiently by hardware design engineers, from requirements specifications, algorithm research and evaluation, modelling and simulation to detailed validation. Eligible Principal Algorithm Researchers will be MSc or PhD educated in a relevant discipline such as image processing, have a good academic background in mathematics and have experience in;

*Image and / or Signal Processing Algorithm Design
*C or C++
*CMOS image sensors
* High performance pixel processing pipeline architectures

Highly desirable knowledge but not essential;

*Video processing
* Technical interest in digital photography
