Principal Analog IC Design Engineer - ADC - Germany
This is a new and exciting opportunity for a Senior/Principal Analog IC Design Engineer to join a global leader in Semiconductor development for consumer applications.
Based in the highly desired city of Munich, the Analog IC Design Engineer will be working within an international team on the design of Analog and Mixed Signal blocks for cutting edge technology.
Your key responsibilities are:
In your role you will be involved with transistor-level feasibility studies for various transistor-level analog blocks including bandgaps, bias, opamps, switched-cap circuits, LDOs, ADCs and DACs. You will supervise and drive quality of layout mask design and work with digital designers to create behavioural models of Analog blocks. You will also be involved with testing and EMC compliance.
Key Skills required for this role:
Industry degree qualified you will have a minimum of 5 years experience in Analog/Mixed Signal IC Design from within a similar position including good knowledge of bandgaps, bias, opamps, switched-cap circuits, LDOs, ADC's and DAC's.
Good knowledge is required in low noise design techniques and high precision techniques in presence of device mismatch. Strong experience is required in ADCs and DACs and related architectures. Experience in behavioral modeling of Analog blocks (C, Matlab, VerilogA) and strong experience in device physics knowledge of Analog IC Designs are important with experience with FinFET process nodes beneficial.
Excellent communication skills in English are required with knowledge of the German language an asset.
