Senior Analog IC Design Engineer - SERDES - Ireland

A new opportunity as arisen at a successful multinational company for a Senior Analog/Mixed Signal IC Design Engineer to join their design centre based in Southern Ireland.

Working as part of the Analog/Mixed Signal IC Design team, you will be involved in developing high speed serial communication interfaces and SERDES transceivers for applications such as automotive and wireless communications. You will be trained in the use of advanced design and verification tools and will be mentored by experienced design engineers. Successful candidates will work as part of an experienced team executing projects in advanced FinFET nodes in CMOS processes.

Tasks will include: Analog and Digital circuit design including; Multi GHz PLL design for Rx & Tx serial solutions up to 30Gbps as well as architecture investigations for next generation circuits; circuit simulation; device debug and characterization.

Industry degree qualified (or equivalent), the successful applicant will have a minimum of 2 years in Analog/Mixed Signal IC Design and analysis, simulation techniques, process technology and architectural modelling.

The successful applicant will have experience in Analog IC Design, Good programming / scripting skills and experience with industry standard schematic entry and circuit simulation.

Previous experience on high speed circuit design would be beneficial.

Excellent problem solving skills are required along with good communication skills and the ability to design innovative circuits.
