Senior Analog IC Design Engineer - Southern Ireland

Our client is a multi-national Semiconductor manufacturer who produce innovative products for the consumer and automotive markets. Due to their continued success and growth, they currently seek a Senior Analog IC Design Engineer based at their design centre in Southern Ireland.

In this role you will be responsible for the design of Analog ICs in deep sub-micron CMOS processes using Cadence tools and your tasks include integrating these Analog circuits with both RF and digital circuits, specifying and designing Analog filters both continuous and discrete-time in either receive or transmit mixers, DAC and ADC circuits. You will also be responsible for the design of test plans for these circuits both in lab and at final test.

The successful applicant will have established experience in Analog IC Design (circa 5yrs+) and with experience in; Analog filter techniques, both continuous and discrete-time, mixers, ADC and DACs. Experience is also required in IC layout techniques and verification methodologies as well as CAD flows for CMOS technologies. Experience in the full product life cycle from initial specification to transfer to production is ideal.

You will be a strong team player and will have excellent communications skills in English. Due to visa restrictions, applicants with the right to work in Ireland/EU will only be able to be considered.
