Based in the South West the FPGA Design Engineer will take ownership of the design, development, implementation, test and integration of technical solutions related to communications within a cyber security environment.
Working alongside other engineers, you will be responsible for FPGA Design utilising VHDL, other responsibilities will include: analysing complex systems, completed implementation and documentation. Whist collaborating with other team members, devising appropriate test procedures and providing project scheduling.
The successful candidate will have a good relevant degree. Key areas of knowledge should include:
* FPGA Design with VHDL
* Understanding and appreciation of underlying digital hardware
* Writing firmware coding guidelines
* Achieving timing closure on FPGA's
