Based in Hampshire the Senior Hardware Applications Engineer will be joining a Blue Chip organisation with a strong presence in the Semiconductor and Mobile industries.
The Senior Hardware Applications Engineer will be responsible for providing design support to customers developing connected products and also be responsible for resolving technical issues. Other responsibilities will include performing block diagram schematics and liaising with Customers and Product Marketing.
This role is highly technical and requires specialist technical knowledge within Digital and Analogue Hardware Design, with focus in CPU/DSP, Memory, Peripherals and Interfaces, Audio, PSU, Power Management, Camera's, LCD and PCi.
The successful candidate will have a good relevant degree with a proven background in Hardware Design. Particular skills of interest include:
* High Speed Digital Design
*Digital and Analogue Design (including PSU)
*Embedded Design (C Programming)
*Familiarity with FPGA development would be beneficial
*Familiarity with Signal Integrity and/or LabView tools would be beneficial.
