Senior Mobile Developer & Team Lead

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Senior Mobile Developer Team Lead to join a company working within the business-management space, with pioneering products for the hospitality industry.


You'll be tasked with leading a small team of developers as well as coaching more junior members to get the best out of their development. On top of this, you'll influence the architecture of the company's mobile platform and come up with innovative technical solutions to product requirements.


Skills required:

-Computer Science degree or equivalent

-5+ years in mobile development

-Java, Android SDK, Swift, Objective-C experience & other mobile frameworks

-Experience of both greenfield projects & maintenance of enterprise apps

-Thorough knowledge of the full SDLC

-Software engineering best practices/methodologies

-Principles of TDD/BDD and advantages

-Architecture patterns

-Unit/Performance/Integration testing

-JSON formats & integration with systems/services

-Solid experience with RESTful APIs

-JIRA

-Team player, with experience of leading/strong people skills

-Fluent in English


Beneficial:

-AWS experience

-Experience with MongoDB or similar

-Implementing apps using Realm database

-Knowledge of App store release procedures

-Exposure to mobile testing methods
