Senior New Business Manager - Smart Buildings - UK


My client, a leading smart buildings company, is seeking a Senior New Business Sales professional to join their growing team. You will have a proven track record of bringing new solutions to market and will be able to hit the ground running with a complex solution sale. You can be home-based but able to travel to the office (on the Southern Welsh border) regularly.



Requirements:

· Relevant technical degree (or equivalent)

· Proven track record of business development within the smart building / IOT industry; able to sell complex solutions and hit-the-ground-running.

· Solid understanding of IOT solutions: connected lighting, smart buildings, etc.

· Experience, and contacts, from selling into large blue-chip organisations.



Responsibilities:

· Develop new business by bringing on new smart building customers across the UK and Europe.

· Qualify leads and develop a strong pipeline of opportunities.

· Hit and exceed targets; developing strong relationships and rapport throughout.

· Manage strategic accounts and develop business in new countries.


This is open to a pro-active, experienced, "hunter" whom can hit-the-ground running, on developing the Smart Building business, through quick engagement and a targeted approach. You will be enthused about new technology in the Smart Building / IOT space and keen to bring new solutions to market.
