Power Electronics Design Engineer (Automotive)
Based in Hertfordshire the Power Electronics Design Engineer will be joining a fantastic technology company that focus on the automotive market. The Hardware department at this company is rapidly growing and the successful engineer will be joining a great team, working in an exciting environment.
The successful candidate will be tasked to develop electronic and instrumentation products for the automotive market. He/She will be providing Hardware support for a wide variety of the customers the company works with. The majority of these will be based in Europe, however there will also be the opportunity of working with people in Asia and the US. The Power Electronics Engineer will design and develop Instrument clusters, Head-up Displays, body control and power electronics systems. The position will include writing documentation of the design, evaluation testing and release.
The successful candidate will have:
- A degree in electronics or related BSc/ MSc preferred
- Extensive Knowledge of power electronics and microprocessors
- Background in Automotive Electronics
- Knowledge of PCB, MOSFET and LED technologies
- Minimum 3 years experience in HW Electronic Design position
- Automotive Instrument Cluster
