Senior Security Hardware Design Engineer - ASIC, Scotland
We are looking for a Senior Security Hardware Design Engineer to join our client - one of the world's most successful Semiconductor companies leading the way in secure connection solutions.
This is a superb opportunity for an engineer with strong Digital IC Design expertise and a background in secure hardware design (cryptography, embedded security).
Based in Scotland, our client's hardware team is set to double in size this year, on the back of strong success. They are seeking an experienced Digital ASIC Design Engineer to join them as a Senior Security Hardware Design Engineer, and become a key member of a chip design team developing advanced security solutions for banking transfers, IC cards and passports. The role will involve taking responsibility for architecture and design of crypto co-processors from initial concept, as well as validation and Verification of crypto co processors. You will be a key support to the HW development and Research teams with leading-edge security knowledge.
The successful candidate will have:
*A good University degree in Electrical Engineering / Computer Science or similar
*A proven background in digital IC / ASIC development (VHDL / Verilog)
*Experience of advanced cryptography algorithms and secured hardware architecture design
*A self-motivated work ethic, strong team work skills
*Excellent commutation skills in English, both written and verbal
