A semiconductor OEM in Greater Manchester is looking to appoint an Equipment Engineer to work on a rotating (4 on, 4 off) shift basis - days and nights. This person won't be assigned to one toolset but rather work across different processes - applying mechanical and electronics/ electrical knowledge to install, troubleshoot, upgrade and repair FEOL equipment.
The successful candidate will have:
- An HND/HNC in electronics or mechanical engineering
- Experience in a 'hands on' service/ maintenance role
- The ability to work methodically to diagnose faults
- The willingness to work on a shift basis (days and nights)
This is a role which offers exposure to different areas of the fab, so it will suit someone who wants to increase their tool repertoire and overall knowledge of the semiconductor fabrication process.
Apply now if you're an equipment engineer/ technician with experience maintaining semiconductor equipment, and a good electronics/ electrical/ mechanical background.
