Signal Processing Pipeline Lead - ASIC, CPU, GPU, RTL
IC Resources is working with a high profile Semiconductor organization developing leading GPU technology. As part of strong ongoing growth, they are looking for a Signal Processing Pipeline Lead Engineer to be responsible for architectural research and design optimization for next generation GPUs. A hugely challenging and interesting opportunity!
As the Signal Processing Pipeline Lead you will drive the development of processor pipeline units, working closely with the architecture and design teams to evaluate new instruction set architectures and micro-architectures to deliver faster, smaller, more robust and power-efficient hardware.
You will actively define and execute roadmaps for improvement across multiple generations of GPU products. This opportunity will allow you to work within a well-established market with high profile customers, with huge potential for growth and development.
Requirement for this role:
*A good University degree in Electronics, Computer Science or relevant field
*Considerable experience of Digital RTL Design for GPUs, CPUs or DSP
*A track record of pipeline design for CPU or GPU applications
*Skills in RTL optimization
*Programming experience in C/C++ would be advantageous
