Product Software Support Team Lead - Woking
Exciting new opportunity for a Product Software Support Team Lead to join global leader based in Surrey. The Software Team Lead will support a team of up to 10 SW Support Engineer with activities relating to the ongoing development and customer use of our clients products. Applicants for this role will be experienced Software Team Managers / Leaders with expertise in: managing engineers, performance monitoring and reviews, team member development, recruitment of new engineers, supports team members by acting as technical expert, supporting business development and bid review process when relevant, supporting and driving continuous improvement.
The Software Support Team Leader will also manage interactions with customers and determine what critical actions must be taken to resolve problems and what avenues exist to undertake product improvement activities within the business. In order to support the engineers within the team, experience and knowledge in some or all of the following disciplines will be required: Embedded C/C++ programming expertise also VHDL, Perl, Python, Matlab / Simulink, Version control knowledge (Mercurial, GIT), Communication interfaces expertise SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, Ethernet, USB, Strong appreciation for hardware
