A unique opportunity exists for a Technical Applications Engineer with a strong background in non-volatile memory (E-Flash / MRAM / ERAM) to join our global client based in the Netherlands.
This role is based out of one of Europe's most beautiful and iconic cities, with one of the world's biggest technology companies. As the successful Technical Applications Engineer you will work closely with the growing European Customer base to understand and support their technical needs on technologies ranging from 0.25um to 10nm. You will have the chance to work with multiple customers; you will have high exposure to up and coming technologies and trends, and educate customers in cutting edge technology. The role will comprise about 30% travel, mainly within Central Europe, and occasionally to the Far East.
Key responsibilities will include:
*Working closely with customers to understand and support their technical needs on Digital and Mixed Signal IC technologies
*Interfacing with teams in other departments and divisions to define and support current and new platform solutions for digital/MS processes
*Supporting the customer through support of Libraries, IPs, PDKs (Process Design Kits)
*Troubleshooting and project managing technical solutions to customers
*Promoting technical solutions and services
The successful engineer will have established experience in either digital IC design and/or design methodology using CMOS based technologies, and knowledge of non-volatile memory design.
An understanding of MS/RF technology and the use of EDA tools and Process Design Kits (PDK) would be useful, however paramount to the role is a strong aptitude for working with customers.
Excellent communication skills in English is a must. Language skills in Mandarin would be an additional bonus.
