You will support R&amp;D through to manufacturing in a deep-tech scale up. This is an onsite position based in Grenoble, France.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm;line-height: normal;font-size: 12pt;font-family: Aptos, sans-serif\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm;line-height: normal;font-size: 12pt;font-family: Aptos, sans-serif\">Responsibilities<\/p>\n<ul style=\"margin-top: 0cm;margin-bottom: 0cm\">\n<li style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0cm 0px;line-height: normal;font-size: 12pt;font-family: Aptos, sans-serif\">Define and execute reliability test plans for photonic integrated circuits, with focus on integrated laser sources<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0cm 0px;line-height: normal;font-size: 12pt;font-family: Aptos, sans-serif\">Design and run accelerated lifetime testing including HTOL, thermal cycling and damp heat<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0cm 0px;line-height: normal;font-size: 12pt;font-family: Aptos, sans-serif\">Analyse failure mechanisms across lasers, waveguides and packaging<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0cm 0px;line-height: normal;font-size: 12pt;font-family: Aptos, sans-serif\">Perform root cause analysis using optical, electrical and materials characterisation<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0cm 0px;line-height: normal;font-size: 12pt;font-family: Aptos, sans-serif\">Develop reliability models and lifetime predictions based on test data<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0cm 0px;line-height: normal;font-size: 12pt;font-family: Aptos, sans-serif\">Work with design, process and packaging teams to improve robustness and yield<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0cm 0px;line-height: normal;font-size: 12pt;font-family: Aptos, sans-serif\">Define qualification standards aligned to datacom and telecom requirements<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0cm 0px;line-height: normal;font-size: 12pt;font-family: Aptos, sans-serif\">Support transition from R&amp;D into manufacturing<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm;line-height: normal;font-size: 12pt;font-family: Aptos, sans-serif\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm;line-height: normal;font-size: 12pt;font-family: Aptos, sans-serif\">Requirements<\/p>\n<ul style=\"margin-top: 0cm;margin-bottom: 0cm\">\n<li style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0cm 0px;line-height: normal;font-size: 12pt;font-family: Aptos, sans-serif\">MSc or PhD in physics, photonics, electrical engineering or related field<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0cm 0px;line-height: normal;font-size: 12pt;font-family: Aptos, sans-serif\">Experience in semiconductor or photonic device reliability<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0cm 0px;line-height: normal;font-size: 12pt;font-family: Aptos, sans-serif\">Hands\u2011on experience with lasers, optoelectronic devices or silicon photonics<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0cm 0px;line-height: normal;font-size: 12pt;font-family: Aptos, sans-serif\">Experience with accelerated testing methodologies and failure analysis<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0cm 0px;line-height: normal;font-size: 12pt;font-family: Aptos, sans-serif\">Understanding of materials and interfaces such as III\u2011V semiconductors and silicon<\/li>\n<li style=\"margin: 0cm 0cm 0cm 0px;line-height: normal;font-size: 12pt;font-family: Aptos, sans-serif\">Data analysis experience using Python, MATLAB or similar tools<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm;line-height: normal;font-size: 12pt;font-family: Aptos, sans-serif\">&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm;line-height: normal;font-size: 12pt;font-family: Aptos, sans-serif\">If you\u2019re interested in the position of Reliability Engineer, please contact Ella Flynn @ IC Resources.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>My client is looking for a Reliability Engineer, focused on silicon photonics and integrated laser devices.
