Our client is supporting major semiconductor fabrication facilities across Germany and is looking for engineers with strong hands-on fab experience to support complex operational and process-driven projects. This role is best suited to someone who understands the realities of semiconductor manufacturing environments and is comfortable operating close to production, equipment and engineering teams.<\/span><\/p>\n

When managing a project the position will be fully onsite which could be anywhere in the EU. This Project Manager position requires candidates who are confident working within high-volume semiconductor fabrication environments as well as candidates who are comfortable with frequent travel.<\/span><\/p>\n

As the Project Manager, you\u2019ll support semiconductor manufacturing operations across process optimisation, equipment performance, troubleshooting and operational improvement activities. The work will involve close collaboration with fab engineering, maintenance, production and project teams to ensure equipment reliability, process stability and manufacturing efficiency.<\/span><\/p>\n

This is not a purely administrative or coordination-focused position. The client is specifically looking for people with practical semiconductor fabrication experience who understand fab operations, manufacturing pressures and the interaction between process, equipment and production output.<\/span><\/p>\n

Responsibilities include<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n
    \n
  • Supporting day-to-day semiconductor fab operations and engineering activities<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Troubleshooting process and equipment-related issues within manufacturing environments<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Working on equipment optimisation, uptime improvement and yield-related initiatives<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Supporting installation, qualification and ramp-up of semiconductor manufacturing equipment<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Collaborating with process, maintenance and production teams to improve fab performance<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Monitoring process stability, analysing operational data and identifying improvement opportunities<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Supporting continuous improvement and operational excellence projects across the fab environment<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    What you\u2019ll bring<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n
      \n
    • Background in semiconductor fabrication operations, equipment engineering or process engineering<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Experience working within wafer fabs or advanced semiconductor manufacturing facilities<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Understanding of semiconductor manufacturing processes and cleanroom environments<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Experience supporting manufacturing equipment, production processes or fab operations<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Practical, hands-on engineering mindset with strong problem-solving capability<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Ability to work closely with cross-functional manufacturing and engineering teams<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      You\u2019ll work directly within advanced semiconductor manufacturing environments supporting highly technical operational challenges. The role offers strong exposure to large-scale fab operations, complex engineering environments and long-term semiconductor manufacturing projects within a growing international team.<\/span><\/p>\n
