My client is a well-established technology solutions provider with a strong reputation for helping customers solve complex engineering and technology challenges. Working with a broad portfolio of embedded and industrial computing solutions, they support customers across sectors including industrial automation, transportation, medical technology, defence, and advanced manufacturing.<\/span><\/p>\n

They are now looking for a Embedded Computing Senior Technical Sales Manager to take ownership of a growing business area and help drive its next phase of expansion.<\/span><\/p>\n

The role<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n

This is a leadership position with a healthy balance of strategy, business development, customer engagement, and team management.<\/span><\/p>\n

As Senior Technical Sales Manager, you’ll be responsible for growing revenue, developing key customer relationships, identifying new market opportunities, and supporting a team of technical sales professionals. You’ll work closely with both customers and technology partners to ensure the business remains at the forefront of emerging embedded technologies.<\/span><\/p>\n

Rather than simply managing a sales team, you’ll be expected to lead from the front\u2014helping shape strategy, opening doors to new opportunities, and supporting customers through complex technical sales cycles.<\/span><\/p>\n

What you’ll be doing<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n
    \n
  • Leading and developing a specialist sales team within the embedded technology space<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Identifying new business opportunities and helping grow existing customer accounts<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Building strong relationships with OEMs, engineering teams, purchasing departments, and senior decision-makers<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Working on long-term design-win opportunities that create sustainable revenue growth<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Developing go-to-market strategies for key sectors and technologies<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Collaborating with supplier partners and internal technical teams to deliver the best customer outcomes<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Supporting major commercial discussions, negotiations, and strategic projects<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Monitoring sales performance, forecasts, and pipeline activity to ensure targets are achieved<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    What we’re looking for<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n

    Keen to speak with individuals who have experience selling embedded or industrial technology solutions and who understand how to navigate technical sales environments.<\/span><\/p>\n

    You might currently be working as a Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, Technical Sales Manager, or Commercial Leader within Embedded Computing, Industrial Electronics, Edge Computing, IoT, Display Solutions, or a related sector.<\/span><\/p>\n

    You’ll likely bring:<\/span><\/p>\n

      \n
    • Experience leading or mentoring sales team<\/span><\/li>\n
    • A strong understanding of embedded computing technologies and solution-based selling<\/span><\/li>\n
    • A track record of delivering revenue growth and developing strategic customer relationships<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Confidence engaging with both technical and commercial stakeholders<\/span><\/li>\n
    • The ability to spot opportunities, build business plans, and execute them successfully<\/span><\/li>\n
    • A proactive, driven approach and a genuine interest in technology<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
