They are looking to add a Junior FPGA Engineer to their Control Systems team, developing the real-time hardware that sits at the heart of advanced quantum networking platforms.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career FPGA Engineer looking to work on cutting-edge technology alongside experienced hardware, software, and physics specialists. You&#8217;ll gain exposure to the full development lifecycle, from RTL design and verification through to hardware bring-up, system integration, and deployment on advanced quantum networking platforms.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">The role will involve developing FPGA designs for Xilinx-based systems, supporting embedded software integration, creating verification environments, and contributing to debugging and automation workflows. You&#8217;ll work closely with senior engineers while developing the skills needed to design robust, real-time control systems.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">They are looking for a Junior FPGA Engineer with the following background:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Commercial experience with SystemVerilog, Verilog, or VHDL<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Experience with Xilinx or Intel FPGA platforms<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Understanding of communication interfaces such as SPI, I\u00b2C, or Ethernet<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Knowledge of FPGA verification and timing closure<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Python scripting experience would be beneficial<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn in a collaborative environment<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Experience with embedded C\/Rust, Linux, real-time systems, or RF hardware would be advantageous but is not essential.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">If you&#8217;re interested in the position of Junior FPGA Engineer, please apply or contact Sam Cruse at IC Resources.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We are supporting a fast-growing quantum technology company developing the networking infrastructure that will enable the next generation of scalable quantum computing.
