{"id":222129,"date":"2026-09-15T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2026-09-14T23:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/ic-resources.com\/jobs\/mechanical-test-manager-514223\/"},"modified":"2026-09-27T06:06:50","modified_gmt":"2026-09-27T05:06:50","slug":"mechanical-test-manager-514223","status":"publish","type":"jobs","link":"https:\/\/ic-resources.com\/de\/jobs\/mechanical-test-manager-514223\/","title":{"rendered":"Mechanical Test Manager"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">I\u2019m currently recruiting for a Mechanical Engineering &amp; Test Engineering Manager to join an established OEM\/engineering business.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">This is a hands-on technical leadership role, managing a small specialist team across mechanical production engineering and test engineering, while working closely with Operations, Design Engineering, Product Management and manufacturing partners.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\"><strong>The role will have significant ownership of:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Leading and developing a small engineering team<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Troubleshooting production issues, field failures and customer escalations<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Developing and improving production test methods, test rigs and equipment<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Leading a major project to modernise legacy test-bed methodology<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Improving test cycle times, production efficiency and diagnostic capability<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Supporting NPI, design transfer and production readiness<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Working with manufacturing partners on root cause analysis and corrective actions<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\"><strong>We&#8217;re looking for someone with<\/strong>:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">A strong Mechanical, Manufacturing, Production or Test Engineering background<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Experience within an OEM, manufacturing or product-based environment<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Previous technical\/team leadership experience<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Strong hands-on troubleshooting and problem-solving skills<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Experience with production testing, test equipment or test rigs<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Experience working with manufacturing partners or contract manufacturers<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">A practical, proactive approach with the ability to lead projects independently<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\"><strong>This is a great opportunity for an engineer who wants to combine hands-on technical engineering, leadership and genuine ownership of engineering improvement projects.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\"><strong>Apply today or contact Gemma for more information.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I\u2019m currently recruiting for a Mechanical Engineering &amp; Test Engineering Manager to join an established OEM\/engineering business.
