In this role, you will develop and optimise embedded software for next-generation ARM-based microcontrollers, working closely with R&amp;D, validation and verification teams. &nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>You will be involved throughout the full development lifecycle, from architecture and firmware design through to debugging, testing, optimisation and product release. The position offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge microcontroller technology used across industrial, automotive, IoT and consumer applications.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>The company: <\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A rapidly growing global semiconductor company is expanding its European team as part of an ambitious growth strategy. Following continued success and investment in the region, the company is planning significant team growth, with multiple engineering hires expected in the coming months.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>About the Opportunity:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>Join a leading innovator in the semiconductor and microcontroller space.<\/li>\n<li>Develop embedded firmware for advanced ARM-based microcontrollers.<\/li>\n<li>Work on low-level software, device drivers, middleware and RTOS-based applications.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate closely with R&amp;D, validation and product design teams on next-generation MCU products.<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to software architecture, debugging, optimisation and performance improvements.<\/li>\n<li>Opportunity to influence future MCU platforms and development frameworks.<\/li>\n<li>Join a rapidly growing engineering organisation investing heavily in MCU development.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>Requirements<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Information Technology, or a related field.<\/li>\n<li>Strong experience developing embedded software for ARM-based microcontrollers (32-bit MCUs preferred).<\/li>\n<li>Strong C\/C++ programming experience in embedded environments.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with RTOS and real-time embedded systems.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of low-level software development, device drivers and MCU peripherals.<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of power electronics, motor control, battery management systems, and digital\/analogue control systems.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with simulation tools, scripting, and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) environments.<\/li>\n<li>Strong problem-solving skills and experience working within multidisciplinary engineering teams.<\/li>\n<li>English communication skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>Interview Process: <\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Stage 1 \u2013 Teams meeting with the hiring manager.<\/p>\n<p>Stage 2 \u2013 Teams meeting with the senior management.<\/p>\n<p>Stage 3 \u2013 Teams meeting with HR for a cultural fit discussion.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>How to Apply:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If this role sounds like something you may be interested in, please apply or email <strong>ella.atkinson@ic-resources.com<\/strong> with an updated CV and a time that&#8217;s best to talk.
