This Principal Electronics Engineer role focuses on the development of advanced sensing and instrumentation products within a growing technology business. The Principal Electronics Engineer will provide technical leadership across hardware development activities while remaining hands-on with design and validation work. The Principal Electronics Engineer will play a key role in shaping product architecture and future technology direction.<\/span><\/p>\n

Responsibilities<\/span><\/h3>\n
    \n
  • Lead the design and development of analogue and digital electronic systems<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Define hardware architectures and technical requirements<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Develop schematics and support PCB design activities<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Perform hardware bring-up, testing and debugging<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Work closely with software, systems and mechanical engineering teams<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring to engineers<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Support prototype development, verification and product release<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Contribute to technology roadmaps and engineering best practices<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    Requirements<\/span><\/h3>\n
      \n
    • Degree in Electronic Engineering or a related discipline<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Extensive experience in electronic hardware design<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Strong understanding of analogue and digital electronics<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Experience leading complex product developments<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Hands-on laboratory testing and debugging experience<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Experience taking products from concept through production<\/span><\/li>\n
    • Strong communication and problem-solving skills<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Desirable<\/span><\/h3>\n
        \n
      • Experience with sensing systems, instrumentation or complex embedded hardware<\/span><\/li>\n
      • Knowledge of FPGA, embedded or high-speed digital systems<\/span><\/li>\n
      • Familiarity with signal processing or data acquisition technologies<\/span><\/li>\n
      • Experience supporting low-volume manufacturing and NPI activities<\/span><\/li>\n
      • Previous technical leadership or mentoring experience<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
