The Hardware System Test Engineer will work across factory test and field\u2011deployed system environments. The Hardware System Test Engineer will support reliable product performance through hands\u2011on hardware and software\u2011driven testing.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Responsibilities<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Test complete hardware systems from initial power\u2011on through full operational behaviour<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Diagnose hardware faults related to manufacturing defects, assembly issues and system\u2011level reliability<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Support both factory\u2011based PCB\/system test and field\u2011level system deployment checks<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Architect test plans and run automated and manual tests across full system racks and accelerator units<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Investigate intermittent, environment\u2011dependent and multi\u2011component issues<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Work with design, manufacturing and operations teams to resolve defects<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Maintain and improve test frameworks, scripts and tools<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Document test results clearly for internal engineering teams<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Requirements<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Experience testing hardware systems or complex electronic assemblies<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Ability to work across hardware, software and system\u2011level interfaces<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Practical lab skills, including use of basic instrumentation<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Comfortable debugging issues spanning boards, cables, sensors, firmware and system controls<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Strong problem\u2011solving skills with methodical test planning<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Ability to write scripts and small tools for automation (any language acceptable)<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Desirable<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Background in data\u2011centre hardware, server systems or accelerator platforms<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Experience with factory test methods such as JTAG, boundary scan or system\u2011level diagnostics<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Exposure to both manufacturing test and field\u2011deployed hardware environments<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">Interest in hardware\/software hobby projects or hands\u2011on engineering outside formal work<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: Verdana;font-size: 14px\">If you\u2019re interested in the position of Hardware System Test Engineer, please apply or contact Chris Moffatt for more details.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This Hardware System Test Engineer role focuses on end\u2011to\u2011end testing of complex hardware systems used in AI acceleration.
