We’re watching as the world changes in the wake of the Internet of Things. With Smart sports equipment, vehicles, and apparel, there seems to be no limit to our connections these days. However, as with any emerging technology, the issue of regulation is key. This was one of the big issues at this year’s IoTSF conference where IC Resources were one of just 3 Gold Sponsors. The fifth of its kind, IoTSF draws members of the IoT community from around the world to London to see for themselves the up-and-coming technology helping us to make the most of the Internet of Things.

On the 26th November I joined Neil Dickins, our MD,  and over 300 attendees at the event to see real-world examples of the very latest fit-for-purpose security implementations.

At the event we caught up with a n umber of our existing clients and other industry leaders and start-ups including Secure Thingz, Thales, Copper Horse, Rood Microtech, Doulos and Cadence.

Whilst there’s still much uncertainty around Brexit (a running theme at all tech conferences over the course of the last year), there was definitely a great deal of attention on end-to-end security, right through to the user.

The conference provided a great opportunity for members of the extensive and growing global Internet of Things community to convene and explore key topics and challenges within the industry as they emerge.
