INTRODUCTION

IC Resources first engaged with Dukosi during the summer of 2019. Revolutionising the BMS (Battery Management Systems) ecosystem with its unique wireless BMS system, Dukosi was looking for a semiconductor recruitment partner with global reach. They needed a business ally who could support hiring across a range of disciplines and geographies, including engineering (semiconductor design, test, applications, and software), sales and marketing, and operations - all from Junior to C-level.  Growth was imminent in the UK, Germany, USA and China.

CHALLENGE 

Dukosi required a recruitment partner with in-depth understanding of the technical nuances of the semiconductor and software ecosystems, as well as the cultural distinctions inherent in a fast-growth start-up. Due to the scale of the hiring and the myriad demands on the executive team, the efficiency of the recruitment process was also paramount. To minimise management time spent on recruitment, a ratio of one interview per two CVs submitted was targeted.

IC Resources offered a proven track record of working with companies that scale quickly. IC Resources were also able to manage the quantity of Dukosi’s roles, and their rapidly changing requirements, whilst ensuring a consistent message to the market and positive candidate experiences.

SOLUTION 

Working on a variety of roles across numerous geographies allows us to fully leverage the knowledge and experience of our 60+ recruitment consultants, each of whom specialises in a tightly defined vertical. In a short period of time, we provided Dukosi with a pipeline of high-quality candidates for a wide range of roles demanding varied skills and responsibilities. Our dedicated Account Director engaged directly with the Executive team. Meanwhile, our individual consultants, each with their own deep technical verticals, worked directly with the relevant hiring managers. Through these different communication routes, we were able to develop an in-depth understanding of both the tangible and intangible requirements for each position, thus increasing the chances of success.

RESULT 

Over the last 4 years, IC Resources has placed over 55 professionals with Dukosi across the globe as the organisation has scaled to over 100 people. The retention rate is over 90%. Hires have been made across multiple disciplines including, but not exclusive to, Semiconductor / IC Design and Test, Software Engineering, Sales, and Strategic and Tactical Marketing. Hires have also been made in Operations, Quality, Functional Safety, and at the Executive level.
