An International Electronic Component Distributor is currently seeking a Field Sales Engineer to manager customers based throughout the western part of Switzerland.
We are looking for someone who already has a strong technical understanding of electronic components and knows the local market.
Requirements:
- Strong technical understanding of a range of Electronic Components and the ability to communicate this knowledge to others
- Ability to develop long term relationships with new & existing customers
- Experienced engineer who is comfortable advising on technical issues and demonstrating/presenting new products, solution selling
- Experience working within the electronic component market is essential and design experience would be an advantage
- French mandatory, convenient German required, English
Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support, solutions & product training
- Regular meetings with customer/clients in order to successfully achieve design-wins
- Attend industry events to keep up-to-date with market trends/movement and effectively promote company products
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with both new and existing customers
