Key skills of the Accounts Assistant would include:
  • Used SAP Concur or an expenses system
  • Used Sage Intacct or had various experiences using different accounting systems
  • Accounts payable experience (processing invoices and making supplier payments)
  • Updating cashflow
  • Raising sales invoices
  • Experience using a CRM system
  • Intermediate/Advanced excel skills
  • Good communicator
  • Working in a fast-paced environment and being happy with change
  • Happy to take ownership of duties and show initiative
Key responsibilities of the Accounts Assistant include:
  • Updating cashflow on a daily basis and flagging in advance any issues with cash deficits
  • Processing invoices and making supplier payments
  • Raising Permanent Sales Invoices from Vincere (CRM System)
  • Requesting purchase orders from clients
  • Dealing with client queries on sales orders
  • Using Excel
  • Covering for other members of the accounts team when out of office
