A US IC company is actively looking for a Business development manager to join their team in Shanghai. Please see the information as below: 

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead OEM engagement(e.g SAIC, GWM, and Geely) to build partnership and collaboration
  • Lead planned marketing activities, E.g market research, competitor analysis, local technical requirements alignment with HQ, new product definition, and ecosystem enablement.
  • Work with HQ business units on the development of promotion strategy and the detailed implementation plan in the region.
  • Good insights of market trends for sensor/power products, understand customers’ requirements and monitor competitor activities to implement marketing strategies.
  • Figure out emerging areas and applications with the alignment with BUs 
  • Partner with Sales to develop new customers to reflect emerging application areas.
  • Provide technical training and professional consultation to customers and distributor
  • Work closely with regional sales manager to develop and implement the sales strategies 
Skills and Requirements
  • Bachelor or above degree in Electrical/Electronic engineering or automotive engineering 
  • 5+ years of working experience in the semiconductor/automotive industry as BDM, product marking or FAE, etc. It will be a plus if the candidates have rich experiences in car OEM engagement
  • Good technical and business insights with related working experiences 
  • Solid knowledge of magnetic sensors, interface sensors, motor drivers, etc
  • Deep understanding of sensor and power market,e.g technical trends and applications
  • Deep and wide understanding of semiconductors and various electrical systems 
  • Proactive, strong ownership, and team work
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills 
  • Highly developed strategic thinking and storytelling skills
  • Fluent in spoken and writing English and Chinese
  • Willing to travel domestically and globally
