Commercial Team Leader - Leeds
Well known distributor is in search of an experienced Team Leader to join their office in Leeds. Suitable candidate will be responsible for ensuring that the department meets sales, margin and customer satisfaction targets by recruiting, developing, maintaining and monitoring a motivated, engaged and informed team of customer service representatives. The role requires strong collaboration and cross functional stakeholder engagement to meet supplier, business and customer goals.
Candidates are required to have experience a minimum of 2years’ experience in team management and proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and energise a team ideally contact centre or fast paced office environment.

  • Leading, motivating, coaching and developing both individual team members and the team as a whole to meet key KPI’s
  • Working collaboratively within the Commercial Centre community to identify, implement and drive activities that continually build customer loyalty and improve the quality of customer experience whilst creating opportunities for colleague involvement and ownership.
  • Developing commercial acumen and capability within the department, driving increased quote conversion, improved qualification and appropriate use of MPV. Colleagues will understand the impact of their decisions on the bottom line and deploy a win/win approach to business
  • Working with key stakeholders to drive the digital/self-serve proposition, releasing bandwidth for colleagues to focus on revenue enhancing activity.
  • Reviewing colleague and department performance data and translating into actions to improve outcomes in department.
  • Excellent call handling, literacy, numeracy and analytical skills
  • Demonstrable ability to influence the sales number.
  • Fluent in English spoken and written - additional language advantageous
  • Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to prioritise a demanding workload.
  • Ability to demonstrate resilience; self-awareness and an understanding of personal impact.
  • Ability to build and maintain an effective understanding of the electronics industry.
  • Ability to evaluate data to drive revenue increasing activity
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Minimum intermediate user of Microsoft Office.
