Field Applications Engineer My client is a growing European semiconductor company who are looking to expand their global remit by adding a Field Applications Engineer to the team in the USA. You will be experienced in USB3 and high-speed SerDes and comfortable liaising between customers and the sales team: switching between technical and commercial hats.
As Field Applications Engineer you will be supporting customers with my clients IP, preparing technical white papers and demonstrating their solutions.
Based in the Bay Area with travel. Requirements:- Relevant technical degree in electronic engineering (or equivalent)
- Good knowledge of high-speed communications including SerDes, USB (3 preferred), PCIe and high-speed test equipment.
- Proven experience in a pre-sales position: able to switch between commercial and technical conversations.
- Autonomous and able to work remotely from a mostly European-based team.
