A Firmware Engineer is sought by leading developer of switched mode power supplies to be based at their R+D headquarters in Munich. The Firmware Engineer will be responsible for defining and developing firmware and embedded software building blocks for new switch mode power supplies. The Firmware Engineer will be working closely with the hardware development teams also developing application software for switch mode power supplies.
After successfully completing your Computer Science (or equivalent) degree your background will include embedded software and firmware (bare metal) development experience hopefully combining some exposure to power and signal processing targeting general purpose processors or DSPs and a deep knowledge of switch mode power supplies. Any system level circuit modelling experience using EDA tools would also be beneficial. Candidates need to be already living and working in the EU.
