I am seeking a world-class System-on-Chip Front-End Verification Lead with deep understanding of digital design and inherent creativity and problem-solving ability to lead the design of the system architecture in my client’s hybrid photonic-electronic chip. You will play a crucial role in achieving their goal to build the first exascale AI chip

You will have the drive, motivation and flexibility as well as an established ability to design
the verification strategy and implement the code and flows to functionally verify best-in-
class, high speed solutions for cutting-edge SoCs.
Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Lead the front-end verification of the overall System-on-Chip and individual units from architecture, including generation of verification specification documents from requirements and design specifications
  • Interact with the architect and RTL design team to verify advanced and novel solutions for implementation beyond the state-of-the-art
  • Interact with IP providers to identify critical elements of the verification from a wide perspective, looking beyond the immediate challenges
  • Interact with RTL design team to maximize and prioritize verification coverage
  • Interface with the photonic engineering team and software team to develop and deliver comprehensive verification strategy 
Requirements and expertise:
  • Established experience in SoC and IP verification for advanced designs with complex requirements and use-cases
  • Demonstrable experience of advanced verification tools, flows and methodologies 
Additional welcome skills and expertise:
  • Cadence tools, flows and methodologies
  • Peripheral protocols (PCIe, SPI etc.)
  • Team leadership/management
