Senior Optical Design Engineer opportunity for a scale up company in Berlin working on optical communication systems and photonic components.
The role will
involve the
development of new optical components, lenses and systems for high speed data transfer.
You will take the design through from capturing requirements and prototyping all the way to volume manufacture.
The key skills of the
Senior Optical Design Engineer will include:
- PhD in Photonics / Optics
- Full optical system simulation in Zemax
- Freespace and Fibre modelling and experimental setup experience
- System and sub-system level optimisation and measurements.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in
silicon photonic transceivers and
