An opportunity has arisen for an Applications Engineer to join one of the best known names in the industry. This is an opportunity for an existing Applications Engineer to further their career or for an Analog IC Design Engineer looking to move into more of a customer facing role while at the same time, having the opportunity to be at the forefront of technological advances.

This role offers a great opportunity to utilise your strong technical skills to work with semiconductors companies adopting methodology solutions and you will have a chance to work on some technically demanding IC design development solutions and leading-edge nanometer process technologies.

You will have the chance to take responsibility for the development and customisation of Analog IP blocks and subsystems whilst providing high-quality consistently and reliably in a customer driven environment. Other responsibilities will include the participation in specification definition and interfacing with the layout teams and producing and presenting design review documentation according to the internal quality flows as required to support costumer requirements. You will also be providing support for junior team members on design and verification.

Industry degree qualified the successful Principal Applications Engineer will have a minimum of 8 years experience in either Analog/Mixed Signal IC or RF IC design or CAD/EDA support within an Analog or RF IC Design environment, ideally within Cadence tooling and associated design methodologies.

You will have expert knowledge of the CMOS IC development process – from spec definition, design, post layout verification, manufacture, characterisation and production test and will have experience in at least two of the following areas: High Speed SerDes, ADC and DAC, PLL, LDO, BandGap, Power Management, MIPI and other Interface Ips.

You will ideally have exposure to 65nm and below and a proven track record of delivering successful full-custom Analog IP blocks in CMOS technology, from conception to mass production.

Excellent communication skills in English are required with Polish language skills an advantage. You will be a strong team player who is passionate about technology but also understands business requirements. You will also have the ability to work in a fast moving & flexible environment and in multiple projects in parallel.
