Sales Director required for a growing and established supplier of semiconductor equipment and services, who have offices in the UK and Ireland, with further expansion planned across Europe.
Suitable candidates will have a technical background along with semiconductor processing and/or equipment experience. You will be comfortable building relationships with both new and existing clients, and have the ability to lead a small team of 3-4 people. You will be responsible for creating and developing strategy, tactics, sales plans and profit targets.
This position is home-based and can be located anywhere across Europe, and you would be expected to travel as and when required, to meet with customers and contractors who are involved in semiconductor fab builds, refurbishments and extensions.
This role offers exciting growth opportunities as the company is thinking about succession planning, and would expect this person to become a member of the board in the near future. Sales Director Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years experience within a sales/business development role within semiconductor processing/equipment
- Technical Degree (Electronics/Physics or similar field) or equivalent experience in lieu of degree
- Willing to travel globally to visit customers as well as attending conferences, trade fairs and exhibitions
- Ability to manage a team of 3-4 people (Marketing, Business Development and Sales Manager)
