This is a compelling new opportunity for an Analog IC Design Engineer to join a solid and growing Semiconductor company working on Analog/Mixed Signal IC Designs for Power Management products. The Analog IC Design Engineer will be joining a very established and growing team in Edinburgh and will be responsible for the design and development of Analog/Mixed Signal circuits for power management including DC/DC converters, Buck-Boost converters, Charge Pumps and Low power / Low noise LDOs.
You will be designing and developing new circuit architectures and techniques on advanced process nodes and will have the opportunity to make a significant contribution to all phases of the project from business and resource planning, market definition, through to development and product delivery. You will be participating in all aspects of the design, from concept to production silicon including contributing to specification, architectural development, Analog IC Design, layout supervision, validation, testing and product release.
Masters or PhD qualified in Electronic Engineering or Microelectronics, you will have relevant experience in Analog/Mixed signal CMOS circuit design along with a good knowledge of Analog IC Design fundamentals on sub-micron CMOS processes, with experience in design for power management and will have experience in some or all of the following; DC/DC converters, Buck-Boost converters, Charge Pumps and Low power / Low noise LDOs.
Excellent communication skills are required with the ability to work well in a team and thrive in a dynamic environment. You will be organised, thorough and detailed with a high level of self-motivation, strong analytical and problem solving skills.
