A position as arisen located in the popular French speaking part of Switzerland.
In this role as Senior Analog IC Design Engineer, you will design Analog/Mixed-Signal power management products utilising leading edge sub-micron BiCMOS/DMOS technologies. Products include battery chargers, precision battery pack monitors/protectors and fuel gauges. This position will give you the opportunity to help define, design, and successfully release battery management products that are used in a wide range of portable devices and e-mobility markets.
Responsibilities include:- Analog/Mixed-Signal IC Design
- Product definition, specification review, feasibility, and architecture
- Simulation coverage of all circuits designed
- Assist with design schedule and die size estimation
- Optimise circuit size and performance
- Support post-silicon validation and debug
Industry degree qualified the successful Analog IC Design Engineer will have a minimum of 5+ years of experience in Analog/Mixed-Signal IC Design within an Analog power management or battery management semiconductor company.
You will have experience in some or all of the following:
- Understanding of power conversion architectures such as buck, boost, buck-boost, etc.
- Battery monitor IC (100V, precision ADCs, cell balancing, charge pump FET drivers)
- Battery charger IC design with multiple control loops or multi-cell battery monitor/protection ICs with precision ADCs
- Experience with low Iq design techniques required for battery powered devices
- Analog and Mixed Signal circuits including amplifies, bandgap, data converters and etc.
- Modelling in Verilog A/AMS/System Verilog
