A Senior Embedded Software Engineer is sought by this leading multi-national organisation to be based at their R+D Centre in Munich. The Senior Embedded Software Engineer will be responsible for the development of embedded software under Linux and RTOS, for writing device drivers and some firmware development for next generation Passive Optical Networking applications. Working with both internal and external development teams the Senior Embedded Software Engineer will be involved in the complete software development lifecycle for both existing and new product development.
The successful applicant will have a Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electronic Engineering degree (or equiv.). You will have a successful track record writing Linux drivers and developing embedded software under Linux and RTOS in C and C++. Preferably you will have a knowledge of open-source software stacks (OpenWRT, Yocto, RDKB etc.) and some exposure to networking software development (PON, I2C, SPI etc.). You must speak and write fluently in English and be fully authorised to work in the EU.
