Senior / Lead Compiler Engineer

A Senior / Lead Compiler Engineer is sought by this exciting organisation specialising in emerging AI technology for the medical, consumer and industrial markets. The Senior / Lead Compiler Engineer will be based in the Zurich Technology Centre and will be responsible for leading compiler design, implementation and optimisation. The Senior / Lead Compiler Engineer will also be responsible for compiler tool chain development and compilation features planning. The Senior / Lead Compiler Engineer will be working with machine learning and AI Engineers and Scientists as well as Processor Architects and Designers.

The successful candidate will have a PhD, Masters or equivalent in Computer Science or a related field. You will have a strong background in algorithm design, performance profiling and software development using C++ and / or Python. You will have in-depth compiler development skills and experience including a good knowledge of LLVM, TVM MLIR etc. Any exposure to machine learning, AI, deeply neural networks or large-scale multi-component software systems would be beneficial.
