System Architect, West France, Competitive salary and share options, brand new role within growing organisation within renewable energy and the offshore industry. You will take responsibility for the design and development of communication systems and integrating the pre-existing software to the custom hardware. You will be working with a C++ code base, various communication protocols and working on control boards, electrical and mechanical drawings and putting together the overall product.
Key skills for the successful System Architect:- Experience with OOP (C/C++)
- Good understanding of comms protocols such as (TCP/IP, CAN bus etc)
- Strong knowledge of system architecture
- Interest in marine and offshore technologies
- Fluent English speaker
If you have any experience with NMEA that would be highly beneficial also. This role does require onsite work in the west of France and is a permanent job opportunity. You will design a new product from scratch, bring through to maturity and then manage the product life-cycle and assist customers with ongoing tasks.
