Sales Account Manager - Detroit, MI

As an Account Manager you'll spearhead the discovery, acquisition, and management of new business. Your responsibilities encompass customer identification, account development, negotiation, contract administration, and fostering long-term account growth. You'll play a pivotal role in representing the customer perspective while making a compelling internal business case.

This role stands as a cornerstone for my clients continued growth, leveraging their core strengths creatively to support customers across the business spectrum. Collaborating with marketing, applications, and design engineering teams, you'll identify opportunities, drive designs, and contribute to new product concepts, roadmaps, and strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Achieve assigned sales targets by effectively presenting, promoting, and selling the clients products and services to existing and potential customers.
  • Identify new sales opportunities, nurturing both new accounts and potential growth within existing accounts.
  • Manage, track, and progress customer-related activities, providing regular reporting to HQ on progress, issues, and needs.
  • Strategically drive account development and engagement, navigating the discovery, evaluation, negotiation, and design win process.
  • Tailor and optimise sales material for specific customers or situations.
  • Coordinate tactically to develop accounts and secure wins, ensuring swift resolution of issues.
Skills and Qualifications+-
  • Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or related field to comprehend customer requirements.
  • Minimum 5 years of semiconductor sales experience, preferably in a related market area.
  • At least 3 years of experience collaborating with distribution.
  • Strong customer orientation with a deep understanding of the semiconductor market.
  • Outstanding communication, interpersonal skills, and a positive, outgoing personality.
  • Proven ability to tackle challenges and operate under commercial pressures.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time
  • Radar experience is a plus.
