Account Manager – Power Semiconductors – EMEA

A technical sales/account manager required for a manufacturer of analog power management semiconductors who have offices across the globe.

This role will be supporting a major franchised distributor and their end customers across Europe and provide solutions and to increase revenue, margin and the number of products used on customer projects.   You will build and maintain strong relationships with a number of large and growing distribution accounts and will be expected to travel across EMEA as and when required.

Suitable candidates will have experience working within the semiconductor industry and have proven sales, account management and/or FAE experience.  A technical qualification is not a must, but would be very advantageous.  Knowledge of power management integrated circuits would however be preferable.

You will be organised and self-sufficient, and be comfortable with high-level reporting and block diagrams.  

Candidates will be based in the UK and comfortable working remotely and travelling frequently.

Account Manager/Technical Sales Requirements:
  • Previous Electronics/Semiconductor experience is a must
  • Understanding of analogue power solutions would be highly advantageous
  • Comfortable speaking with and providing solutions to designers and electronic engineers
  • Excellent organisational skills with a high attention to detail
  • Excellent communications skills and ability to hold presentations and training sessions, both internally and externally
  • Flexible with a willingness to travel across EMEA
